Workshop: Schwarz-Weiß-Filme entwickeln mit Instant-Kaffee
Worum gehts?
Viele werden sich wundern, dass man schwarz-weiß Filme auch mit Kaffee entwickeln kann. Mit dieser zugegeben, etwas verrückten Idee kann man sehr unterhaltsam Workshops durchführen, die Jung und Alt begeistern. Interessant. Dabei ist, dass die Zutaten, die wir benötigen (nur Kaffee genügt natürlich nicht) alle vollkommen unschädlich sind (bis auf den Fixierer). Darum ist dieser Workshop auch für Kinder unter Anleitung geeignet.
Der Workshop eignet sich für Gruppen bis zu zehn oder zwölf Teilnehmern.
Man benötigt neben den Chemikalien eine analoge Kamera und einen Film pro Teilnehmer. Die Materialien und Filme (sowie einige Ausleih-Kameras) können vom Veranstalter gestellt werden.
Nachdem die Filme belichtet sind (es können natürlich auch eigene, bereits belichtete Filme mitgebracht werden) dauert die Entwicklung für einen Film circa 45 Minuten.
Vorab gibt es eine Einführung in die Grundsätze der Filmentwicklung und auf Wunsch natürlich ganz zu Beginn auch eine Einführung in die Fotografie mit analogen Kameras und analogen Filmen.
Der Workshop kann ganz nach dem Bedürfnissen der Teilnehmer beziehungsweise des Veranstalters geplant und durchgeführt werden. Idealerweise plant man eine Workshop Zeit von 5-6 Stunden ein.

What’s it about?
Many people will be surprised that you can develop black and white film with coffee. With this admittedly somewhat crazy idea, you can conduct highly entertaining workshops that will delight young and old. Interestingly, the ingredients we need (coffee alone isn’t enough, of course) are all completely harmless (except for the fixer). This makes this workshop suitable for children with supervision.
The workshop is suitable for groups of up to ten or twelve participants.
In addition to the chemicals, you will need an analog camera and one roll of film per participant. The materials and film (as well as some rental cameras) can be provided by the organizer.
After the films have been exposed (you can, of course, also bring your own, already exposed film), developing one film takes approximately 45 minutes.
There will be an introduction to the principles of film development beforehand, and, if desired, an introduction to photography with analog cameras and film right at the beginning.
The workshop can be planned and conducted entirely according to the needs of the participants or the organizer. Ideally, the workshop should last 5-6 hours.
